1C to 5C degrees cooler on the Hinterland.
Rain Hinterland: Being such a green, lush area there is regular rainfall all year round but rarely does it rain all day.
June-December: 6-9 days where some rain falls per month
January-May: 11-14 days where some rain falls per month
Less rain falls on the coast.

Sunshine:
The Sunshine Coast and Hinterland has one of the highest sunshine readings in the world –
average of 7 hrs per day. Variations between Summer and Winter are not great however the
evenings in Winter in Mapleton (Hinterland) can be cool (down to 5 degrees C) making a wood fire a cosy solution.
